Thomas waited impatiently at the docks. A new engine was to arrive soon, and Thomas wanted to be the first to greet him. The new train was being brought over in order to help out the breakdown gang and rescue disrepaired engines. Cranky saw the barge sail in from afar, and alerted Thomas. Thomas now waited for the barge to port and for Cranky to lift the engine out of the hold. There came two parts. First was the tender, then the engine itself. "Hullo," whistled Thomas, "I'm guessing you're the new one we've been waiting for?" The engine didn't answer. He was occupied looking around the dockyard. "Och, this is nothing like Wales," he complained, "anyways, the name's Barry."
