The Other Railway (British Railways) is a railway formed after the "Big Four" (LMS, LNER, GWR, and SR) was merged in 1948. It lasted until 1995, in which the company was privatized and divided into different, smaller companies. Many engines, both steam and diesel, arrive from here on loan to Sodor, and some are even bought out by the North Western Railway
