The Troublesome Trucks (also known as "Cars" or "Trucks" or "Freight Cars") are the rascals of the North Western Railway. They constantly cause trouble, and take imense joy in making engine late, or derailing them.They tend to laugh around and sing noisily when doing so. They can vary from regular trucks, to tankers, or salt vans. The engines pay them back by bumping and shunting them around. The Troublesome Trucks serve as secondary antagonists of the series.
